Aloha!
I hope that you find our website both informative and
useful. As co-owner of Blue Hawaii Properties, I’d like to
take this opportunity to share a little about myself.
I was born and raised in the Hudson River Valley of New York
and also raised in Puerto Rico; an island very much like
Kauai.
I now reside in Wailua, Kauai with my wife Danièle and young
daughter, Sofia.
I first
arrived to Hawaii in 1978 and made Kauai my home in 1981. I
have been a REALTOR® since 1989 and offer experience and
personalized service that is hard to find in large, prolific
franchises where many agents have only a few months
of experience. My wife
Danièle and I have worked hard to build our specialized
boutique real estate company. We’ve put our heart & soul
into making Blue Hawaii Properties a reality not only for
ourselves, but for all the people of Kauai. We believe that
representing our client’s best interests is paramount.
Whether selling or buying, we believe hard work, attention
to detail and our sincere, no nonsense approach will get the
job done right for you. We believe home ownership should be
a reality that is attainable by all Kauaians and Blue Hawaii
Properties exists to help make that happen.
With
over 25 years on Kauai, my clients are confident that I know the lay of the land. I am grateful for the
privilege to be doing business here; Kauai certainly is a
Garden Island paradise. I have lived all over the island and
enjoy Kauai's lush vegetation, its rich cultural history,
the perfect blend of cool trade winds and pure Hawaiian
sunshine.
Prior to
my career in real estate, I served with the US Army’s 25th
Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks on Oahu and as an MP
in the Army Reserves, then with the Hawaii Air National
Guard’s 150th Aerospace Control & Warning Squadron
at Kokee Air Force Station in the 1970’s & 80’s. During
the early and late 1980's, I also worked for the US Navy as
a Flight Line Plane Captain with the Dynalectron Corporation
at the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Barking Sands, Kauai. Serving in
America’s Armed Forces taught me a lot about dedication and
attention to detail; about hard work, sacrifice, loyalty,
duty and honor.

Castillo is Vice President and Co-Owner of Blue Hawaii
Properties, Inc. with Tito. She has a B.S. in Business
Administration with a dual concentration in Marketing and
International Business from
Northeastern University in Boston. She has lived on Kauai
since 1992 and worked in the real estate and property management
field since early 1993. She is the marketing director,
bookkeeper, vacation rental contract writer, and unofficial
computer troubleshooter for Blue Hawaii Properties, Inc.
Last but not least, Danièle is Tito’s wife and Sofia’s mother. |

a native of Hawaii and born in Honolulu, I am proud to be living
on such a beautiful island deep in culture and great in riches
from the hearts of those who live here and share this special
island, Kaua'i. My father, a general contractor, moved our
family to Kaua'i and has taught me about the building industry
and the process of home ownership. My experience of 8
years as a front office manager for a condominium resort has
been an asset for me to helping others to understand home

DIONNE MILLER

Dionne joined Blue Hawaii Properties
in February 2006. A Kauai resident for 17 years, she has been
involved in the visitor and vacation rental business for most of
that time. Her former position at the Lihue Airport handling
private jet flights for clients including celebrities and former
President Bill Clinton allowed her to showcase her excellent
customer service skills. Dionne enjoyed helping visitors to our
lovely island have the best vacation experience possible and is
now enthusiastically helping her clients find the homes and
properties that best fit their needs. Dionne loves living
on Kauai and can be found hiking, swimming and snorkeling around
the Island when she isn’t helping her clients find their dream
