Kauai TMK Map
The Kauai Tax Map Key (TMK Map) shows the County of Kauai in five divisions, used by Realtors, escrow companies and banks to pinpoint the exact location of a parcel.  All legal documents will refer to this number.  The first number, 4, is Kauai County.  All MLS/TMK listings in this website will begin with the number 4.  The second number indicates the zone or district on Kauai.

The third number indicates a section within that district or zone.

The fourth and fifth numbers (not seen on the map) refer to the plat and parcel, which would show the exact location of the property when looking at a complete detailed tax map.  You can ask your Realtor for a TMK map for the property you are interested in.
