Hawaii State Legislature Websites

State Capitol Web site -
Features legislative timetable, notices of bill hearings, e-mail links
to legislators, text of bills as they move through the legislative
process, plus text of still alive bills and resolutions introduced
during the 1999 session of the Legislature.
Bills introduced in the 2000 session will be added as they are
filed. Histories of each measure, along with records of what
committees bills have been referred to are also available.
Search for bills and resolutions on the update
ACCESS
site. This Web site replaces the old Tel-Net system used since the
late 1980s.
On-line legislative workshops on the legislative process are set
for the Access Room Web site.
The web site also has descriptions of how a bill becomes a law and
links to other useful sites. You can also call the Public Access Room
toll-free by dialing 274-3141, then, when prompted, dial in 7-0478.
A Hawai`i
Directory of State, County and Federal Officials is available. An
Adobe Acrobat browser plug-in and Acrobat Reader software are needed
to read the files; the software is downloadable for free.
